Dialogic發表功能強大的軟體媒體伺服器PowerMedia XMS
PowerMedia XMS能夠使服務提供者
加強具有視訊會議特徵的web和音訊會議解決方案

Dialogic 推出整合 Microsoft Office Communications Service 2007 Mediation Server 的 Media Gateway

The Dialogic® 4000 Media Gateway Series (aka “DMG4000 gateways”) are a set of integrated systems designed to connect Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007 to existing PBX systems and PSTN networks.
Based on a standard rack-mount server running Microsoft Windows® Server 2003, the DMG4000 gateways are in the class of “basic-hybrid gateways” designed to provide both the media gateway function and the Mediation Server role of Office Communications Server 2007. Mediation Server provides PSTN and PBX interoperability, high-fidelity audio via the Microsoft RT Audio Codec, and VoIP security for Office Communications Server 2007. This unique integration of a media gateway subsystem and Windows Server 2003 delivers two key elements of an Office Communications Server 2007 deployment in one easily managed, 1U rack mount device. The Mediation Server software from Microsoft is a required element of an Office Communications Server 2007 deployment with PBX or PSTN integration, and will come pre-installed on the Dialogic 4000 Media Gateway Series.
Since the fall of 2006, Dialogic, a Gold Certified member of the Microsoft Partner Program, has been actively involved in supplying pre-production versions of its new hybrid gateways to leading enterprise customers and channel partners worldwide for early adoption testing and pilot installations. The DMG4000 Series feature the field-proven and reliable Dialogic® Diva® Media Boards, Dialogic® Diva® SIPcontrol™ software, Windows® Server 2003 and the Mediation Server software for Office Communications Server 2007. These elements are integrated in an Intel® IP-Network Server featuring high performance 64-bit Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® 5100 series processors, RAID 1 hard disk subsystem and redundant power supplies, in a very compact 1U rugged design that can be deployed in a data center rack. Planned enhancements and features from Dialogic are poised to be easily installed on these standards based systems. The media gateway sub-system offers dual load-balancing Gigabit Ethernet interfaces towards the IP networks, as well as a choice of either two or four T1/E1 interfaces towards the PSTN or PBX. The two integrated turnkey configurations can support up to 60 or 120 channels of unified communications traffic between legacy networks and the IP network and thus are capable of supporting hundreds of IP endpoints registered to Office Communications Server 2007. Multiple units can be co-located or distributed across a managed IP network as enterprises scale up their unified communications deployments.

Dialogic® D240JCTT1EW, D300JCTE1120EW and D300JCTE175EW are full-size, single-slot, single-span PCI Express combined media boards.These 24-30 port digital PCI Express* boards are ideal for developers seeking to provide cost-effective, scalable, high-density communications applications requiring digital network interfaces as well as multimedia resources such as voice and, on select boards, software-based speech recognition or fax in a single personal computer (PC) slot. These boards offer a rich set of advanced features and support digital signal processing (DSP) technology and industry-standard PCI Express bus and CT Bus technologies
Like other JCT series boards from Dialogic®, the D240JCTT1EW, D300JCTE1120EW and D300JCTE175EW PCI Express boards can be combined with other network interface and resource hardware from Dialogic® to create a complete solution.
Dialogic® will start shipping these three new boards compatible with PCI Express bus architecture on or about 6/15/07. The boards are identical in the feature and functions to their PCI universal predecessors. By delivering full backward compatibility on the new server bus architecture, solution providers can adopt the new boards into existing applications and systems with little or no change to their applications.

Dialogic® Diva® BRI and Dialogic® Diva® Analog boards using Dialogic® Diva® SIPcontrolTM Software Release 1.5 are now supported with Dialogic® Host Media Processing (HMP) Software Release 3.0 for Windows. This product solution is a perfect compliment to the existing Dialogic® DNI board series, which did not have an analog or BRI PSTN interface offering.
Customers who wish to build a TDM/IP hybrid system using Dialogic HMP software can now have connectivity to the BRI and analog PSTN network. In addition, two new HMP BRI bundles are available for customers to order. The new SKUs are a combination of a Dialogic Diva BRI boards and Dialogic HMP software licenses., the details are listed in the table below.

Dialogic Diva SIPcontrol software is designed to enable developers to integrate Dialogic Diva BRI and Analog boards with Dialogic HMP software release 3.0 for Windows. This allows applications written to Dialogic HMP software to be enhanced with BRI and Analog connectivity for a hybrid TDM/IP environment. The combination of Diva SIPcontrol software and Dialogic® Diva® boards creates a BRI or Analog to SIP gateway subsystem that can be integrated into a server running an HMP application. This approach allows Dialogic HMP software and Dialogic Diva boards to communicate via the open and standards-based SIP protocol. Call control information on the Dialogic Diva board is translated into SIP messages, and voice channels are converted into IP packets and streamed via the RTP protocol into the HMP environment. With a fax call, the DSP resources of Dialogic Diva boards terminate the TDM fax call and process V.34 fax modulation up to 33.6 kbps. As a result, fax information is relayed over IP using the industry-standard T.38 protocol. Diva SIPcontrol software also provides echo cancellation (EC) with up to 128 ms tail length and supports DTMF collection/generation via the DSP resources of the Dialogic Diva board.

Dialogic公司於Multimedia Processing Platform (MMP) 產品上新增支援3G-324M介面功能
Dialogic 領先業者推出AdvancedTCA平台上連接3G-324M介面
Dialogic MMP with 3G-324M interface enables Dialogic customers to drastically reduce the cost and footprint of their ATCA-based video solutions deployed in the 3G wireless networks compliant with 3GPP Releases 99 and 4.
With introduction of this key feature, the Dialogic MMP combines the 3G-324M gateway function with multimedia processing on a single blade. In addition, the general-purpose Intel Architecture (IA) processor at the heart of the ATCA hardware platform now can be used to run customer applications or middleware, making it possible to create entire solutions, such as video portals, in a single ATCA slot. Previously, multiple hardware units were required to deliver a multimedia server with 3G-324M connectivity.
3G-324M support is included in Dialogic Multimedia Software Release 1.1. The feature is a software-only upgrade to the previously released Dialogic Multimedia Platform for AdvancedTCA.
Early adopters of this technology are already developing applications for 3G wireless networks. One such application is demonstrated at Dialogic booth 2.1C26 at 3GSM. “The 3G Call Continuity solution from InSerTO is a carrier grade product built on Dialogic Multimedia Platform (MMP) for ATCA that allows operators to terminate all 3G/324M video calls, whatever the situation, be it a 3G user or a 3G user in a 2G covered area,” stated Jean Philippe Mouilleron, Director of Marketing for InSerTO. InSerTO 3G Call Continuity enables operators to extend to their customers the following termination options: leave a video message, establish transparently a voice call to the called user without any need to redial, or send a Voice SMS.
The Dialogic Multimedia Platform for AdvancedTCA is the first commercially available standard-based product that combines the benefits of Host Media Processing running on the AdvancedTCA blade with intensive processing offloaded to an Advanced Mezzanine Card. This exciting product underscores Dialogic’s focus on innovation while not departing from its important goal of delivering cost-effective solutions to the telecom industry.

Market leading Media Boards from Dialogic® now available in PCI Express version
Dialogic expands existing product offering to meet new server bus architecture
“While our main development focus is on media and signaling products that enable IP, wireless and video communication solutions, we recognize the importance of keeping our existing media board products compatible with the latest platform technologies” states Jim Machi, Vice President of Product Marketing at Dialogic. “We are taking a phased approach to providing our market leading products in PCI Express form factor to ensure our customers flexibility in their choice of servers and server bus architecture.” Dialogic intends to release additional PCI Express boards as product line extensions throughout 2007.
Availability of the new boards is immediate and covers Dialogic JCT series boards with a 12 port analog board and dual span T1/E1 boards, plus Dialogic Diva series boards with single span T1 and E1 interfaces. The boards may be mixed and matched with the existing Dialogic PCI universal variants in servers that have an assortment of PCI and PCI Express slots. The new products also comply with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive in force in the European Union. Dialogic Expands IP Media Gateway Product Line
Dialogic ships quad T1/E1 gateway, adds more protocols and security features
December 4, 2006 — Dialogic Corporation (“Dialogic”), a global provider of world class products and technologies for media and signal processing, announced today an expanded Dialogic IP Media Gateway product line. A new quad span density T1/E1 gateway, support for additional PSTN protocols, IP security features, and expanded PBX interoperability are delivered along with a new software release, version 5.1. The software release is shipping on new gateways immediately, and allows field deployed Dialogic gateways the ability to upgrade to the new protocol and security features. The new Dialogic T1/E1-IP Media Gateway, model TIMG12000DTI, with four digital trunk interfaces began shipping to the worldwide Dialogic distribution channel at the end of November, complementing the single and dual T1/E1 models introduced earlier this year.
The Dialogic IP Media Gateway product line consists of turn-key appliance form factor units with a variety of PSTN and PBX interfaces, including the T1/E1 Media Gateways and the exclusive series of Dialogic PBX-IP Media Gateways. The Dialogic PBX-IP Media Gateways provide tight integration with legacy PBX’s by translating proprietary digital PBX protocols into the open standard SIP and H.323 VoIP protocols. These gateways are designed to interface IP Media Server applications such as unified messaging, IVR, conference and speech servers to legacy telephony equipment. The ability to translate the digital PBX protocols means advanced call handling, message waiting control and caller identification required by messaging and IVR applications are available in the IP environment. The new software release announced today adds Alcatel, Ericsson and Fujitsu to the extensive list of supported switches.
Nuance Communications, a leading supplier of speech and imaging solutions, was an early adopter of Dialogic IP Media Gateways. “We have long searched for IVR centric gateways that are easy to configure, maintain, support and cost effective to deploy,” stated Richard Lajoie, Manager of Connectivity Software for Nuance. “We have found that the Dialogic T1/E1-IP Media Gateway is simple and yet provides all the features we require.”
More Digital Protocols for More Applications
The Dialogic T1/E1-IP Media Gateways are enhanced with additional PSTN protocols which enable their deployment in more markets and for more gateway applications. In addition to the existing ISDN, Q.SIG and CAS protocols, Euro ISDN, DMS100, and 5ESS protocols have been added, enabling more direct PSTN connectivity in global markets.
“While our T1/E1 gateways already had unparalleled support for PBX protocols and interoperability, they now have more connectivity options directly between the PSTN and IP networks” stated Jim Machi, Vice President of Marketing at Dialogic. “The upcoming move to Unified Communications in the enterprise and the growth of hosted VoIP services including IP-PBX, Contact Center and basic VoIP service over broadband requires cost effective access gateways to connect to legacy PSTN networks and switches. The Dialogic T1/E1-IP Media Gateways are rapidly growing in their ability to service these burgeoning applications with the expanded protocol set delivered today.”
Addressing VoIP Security
As enterprise customers adopt VoIP infrastructure and applications in increasing numbers, security has become a greater concern. The new Dialogic IP Media Gateway software release 5.1 delivers three levels of security for VoIP signaling, RTP packets, and remote management. The entire gateway line now supports the TLS (transport layer security) standard for signaling, secure RTP for voice packet encryption, and secure HTTPS web access for management. These features provide end-to-end security for the VoIP channels and remote gateway management functions. As VoIP gateways become critical components of new unified communications systems and solutions, complementing and potentially replacing traditional PBX infrastructure altogether, the ability to provide secure and reliable voice signaling and transport increases in importance.

Dialogic Corporation Delivers Industry’s First Multimedia Processing Platform for AdvancedTCA* Architecture
Dialogic® Multimedia Platform for AdvancedTCA now available for high-density voice, video, wireless and wireline communication services
The platform integrates an extended implementation of Dialogic’s Host Media Processing (HMP) software with an AdvancedTCA single board computer that includes two Dual-Core Intel® Xeon® LV 2.0 GHz processors designed to boost multitasking computing power. An Advanced Mezzanine Card (AdvancedMC*) is used for echo cancellation and transcoding offload, which significantly enhances media processing performance, especially when low-bit-rate audio coders are required at high-density levels. This combination of media processing power, together with over 30 GB of hard disk storage, means the platform has the capacity to run applications locally on the same blade as an alternative to supporting them remotely over IP connections.
“Our customers are looking for a path to higher density media solutions that will allow them to deliver their unique application services into the demanding environment of carriers,” stated Jim Machi, Vice President of Marketing for Dialogic. The media platform not only realizes the scalability demanded in the Service Provider market but does so with leading price-performance. Machi explained: “By assigning processor-intensive operations to the mezzanine card we leave more power for host media processing. And because the core processing algorithms are hosted on the CPU, we have the flexibility to meet ever increasing functional, operational and mobility demands through software-only revisions.”
Dialogic’s early adopter customers are counting on that proposition. "We're seeing that service providers are demanding solutions that maximize reusability and offer investment protection,” stated YH Choe, Bridgetec’s Executive Vice President and COO. “Our customers in the carrier market segment now investing in IMS and BcN expect us to deliver a minimum of 4 years investment protection. They have learned the importance of this from past experience with new technologies.” Mr. Choe explained his choice of Dialogic’s multimedia platform for Bridetech’s carrier solutions: “Dialogic's solid level of commitment and demonstrated performance on hosted media processing products and its roadmap help us to win the designs."
Others agree that the Dialogic Multimedia Platform accelerates development of solutions for the carrier market. “We tested Dialogic’s AdvancedTCA product and found that it offers the necessary features we needed for 3G value added services and can expedite our service deployment,” said Wang Chun, CTO of Eastcom-BUPT.

Dialogic 公司為領先全球的媒體和信令處理產品供應商，於 2006年11月30 日宣佈---微軟在其新發布的Microsoft Exchange Server 2007的訊息整合系統(UMS)，Dialogic的IP媒體閘道器(IP Media Gateway)產品通過其認証。Exchange Server 2007新增的訊息整合系統中，提供了一個共同的收件箱來管理e-mail、語音信箱和傳真訊息。同時，可以在全世界任何地方，透過各種客戶端設備來訪問這些訊息、行事曆和聯絡人等功能。 Dialogic的閘道器提供了基於IP 架構的Exchange Server與傳統交換機之間的語音和信令連接方案。因此，企業客戶無須將企業內部的語音網路架構更換為IP架構，就能建置訊息整合系統。
Dialogic 與微軟緊密合作，認証了Exchange Server 2007 和Dialogic 閘道器產品的互通性。Dialogic T1/E1IP媒體閘道器和PBX-IP媒體閘道器提供了標準的交換機界面和各種數量規格的連接埠，讓不同大小的公司都可以建構Exchange Server 2007 的訊息整合系統，並享受它所帶來的工作效率的提升。Dialogic閘道器產品與全球企業最廣泛使用的交換機相容，例如：Avaya, Nortel, NEC, Siemens, Alcatel, Mitel 等等。同時還針對特定的交換機，提供與Microsoft Exchange 2007連接配置的模板，以簡化安裝和整合的程序。

Dialogic閘道器產品線包括：T1/E1-IP 媒體閘道器，提供1、2、4 個T1/E1的交換機連接埠；PBX-IP媒體閘道器提供8個的特定交換機類比連接埠或類比FXO的連接。同時近期即將發布ISDN BRI-IP媒體閘道器，它提供了歐洲最常用的交換機系統的界面，也一並會進行認証。
